Humanizing Product Development

My career has always been about people — understanding who they are, advocating for their needs, designing for their lives, and ultimately helping them succeed.

For 20 years, I’ve led UX research and strategy efforts that blend behavioral science, analytics, and technology to create tools and experiences that matter.

But insights don’t drive impact on their own — people do. That’s why I spend nearly as much time understanding how the teams I support — executives, designers, product managers, engineers, and strategists — think about data as I do exploring the needs of end users. Because at the end of the day, research is only impactful when it builds consensus and drives action.

My work.

Stepping into an engagement with a leading therapy-focused EMR provider, I quickly identified that the project – scoped and sold before my arrival – had ambitions that far outpaced its timeline and resources. Click here (password protected) to explore how I used an effective research strategy, deft leadership and political savvy to steer the engagement, which sought to modernize legacy systems while exploring AI-driven solutions, toward achievable outcomes while rebuilding trust with a frustrated client.
